This lot was harvested by approximately 868 smallholders who deliver their coffee to the Eva Gotiti Washing Station in the Gedeo Zone. This modern coffee processing facility was established in 2022 and has adopted a strict water management and traceability plan since its inception, committing itself to both environmental and social responsibility from farm to export.

Eva Gotiti follows a traditional washed process: the coffee cherries are cleaned to remove debris before being washed, pulped, fermented, washed again and finally dried on raised beds. All the coffee is kept as separate lots until it is cupped and graded to further improve traceability.

The station is committed to environmental and social responsibility, providing coffee seedlings to the community, financial support to underprivileged farmers, and premium payments based on coffee deliveries. These efforts not only enhance sustainability but also strengthen the relationships between farmers and the washing station.
