This clean, stone fruit-led natural Red Bourbon is the first coffee we have sourced via York-based importer partners Omwani. Omwani have been collaborating with Burundian coffee producer group Migoti for the last five years, purchasing cherries from farmers all over the region and working to support the community around them.

This lot is comprised of cherries from seven local smallholders who delivered their produce to the Kinama Hill washing station. Last year, Omwani launched a fundraiser for Migoti’s project to build a community water reservoir to bring safe, reliable drinking water to over 4,800 people across five communities surrounding the washing station. Phase two of the project will add 5km of gravity-fed piping to deliver water to ten community water points across Kinama.
